Church of Tzaddi

Experiencing the infinite, loving, co-creative presence of the Divine

Fostering Spiritual Community

Fostering spiritual community is a seminar intensive about spiritual leadership in which you focus on:
  • Vision as it comes from Spirit
  • Leading as “being with” and leading as “bringing forth”
  • The Divine, God/Goddess/Great Mystery, the Source of life, the Source of all inspiration, blessings, and abundance
  • What is: the actual state of things as opportunties come to you for spiritual leadership, stripped of your projections, fantasy, etc. as much as possible so you can perceive clearly and respond appropriately, in the highest and best way

This seminar intensive on Fostering Spiritual Community is suitable if you:

  • Feel called to serve in spiritual growth and development
  • Feel drawn to assist people in expressing more of their potential
  • Feel you are part of a larger group work
  • Would like to expand/anchor spiritual perspectives in the way you relate to groups and community, or
  • Want to pursue ordination to gain a credential to support what you are already doing in your spiritual helping work

The lessons for this seminar are:

  1. Circle
  2. Tzaddi faith tradition
  3. Vocation in fostering spiritual community
  4. Vision & mission
  5. Community & covenant
  6. Fostering
  7. Authenticity
  8. Impressions & projections
  9. Empowerment
  10. Mutual emergence
  11. Challenge & resistance
  12. Unmet needs & longings
  13. Transference
  14. Self-care & reflective practice
  15. Bringing it all together

The lessons are elegant and deceptively simple; they grow inside and through you as you put them to work in partnering for spiritual growth & service. The lesson titles are the same as some of the lessons in the other seminars in this series, but the “guts” of the way we approach each topic is focused in this seminar on Fostering Spiritual Community.

Activities include guided visualization and meditation, silent time for contemplative or prayerful reflection, personal journaling, storytelling, PeerSpirit circle meeting structure, discourses, and an assortment of interactive one-on-one and group exercises to help each participant anchor concepts and skills through personal experience.
